Good Afternoon

Yesterday Team 5 Tasking Officers, Dan and JT were out on foot patrol in the Blackpool town centre area. Three males were seen on electric bikes riding dangerously along the pavement in the North Pier area. 

Whilst distracted verbally abusing a member of the public, the officers walking towards him were able to arrest and detain the vehicle. The driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and has also been reported for summons for seven driving offences. The bike has been seized and will be crushed.
