Anti-Social Behaviour involving bikes

Lancashire constabulary is working hard to crack down on the usage of bike in Anti-Social behaviour and we are actively working to stop people riding motorbikes in an illegal/Anti-Social manor.

Whilst I understand your frustration around Off-road bikes please ensure you do not approach or try to confront any of the riders of these bikes as some of them may be quite aggressive.

Next time you see an off-road motorbike causing a nuisance, please:

  • Take note of a registration plate (if there is one)

  • The clothes the riders were wearing.

  • If the riders were wearing protective gear like helmets.

  • The approximate age of the rider.

  • What type of off-road bike it is, e.g. if it is a quad bike, scrambler bike, mini-motor or an E-Scooter.

  • The location of this event.

  • If you know the name of the rider then you should also provide it.

  • If you know where these bikes are being stored please tell us.

If you want to report this issue to us in the future, you can:

  • Ring the police line 101 or alternatively you can call 999 if it is an emergency.

  • Reporting it to us online. Home - Lancashire Constabulary - Report Online

  • You can make an anonymous report online. Independent UK charity taking crime information anonymously | Crimestoppers (crimestoppers-uk.org)
