Hello Resident

Today the Neighbourhood team have been working with the Safer Roads Unit conducting speed enforcement in three locations. Mitton road, Whalley, Simonstone Lane, Simonstone and Whalley Road, Sabden.  These three locations have been highlighted to us as roads of concern for speeding via the road safety partnership website.

Various summons have been issued in all three locations. these include, no MOT, 5 for Speeding, one for having no driving licence and a vehicle seized under section 165 (no insurance)

We will continue to conduct these speed checks in areas of concern raised by yourselves.
