Please can we make you aware of a burglary recently reported to us, which occurred early last week. In this instance, while the resident has been away, people have entered the property through an insecure ground floor window. While forensic opportunities are limited, we are continuing to investigate and identify the persons involved. 

At this time it is believed this address was specifically targeted, and no neighbouring homes have been interfered with.

While the investigation continues, we ask that you please continue to be safety conscious. Please ensure you keep ground floor windows secured at night, or when away from home for an extended period of time.

If you see someone acting suspiciously on your street, let us know by calling 101 (or 999 if you see a burglary in progress).
