Today your local officers have been on the roads stopping vehicles for speeding, to conduct breath test, check insurance and driving licence offences.

18 drivers were breath tested and all 18 blew 0 - that is fantastic.

1 driver was issued a traffic officers report for speeding in a 30 mph area.

20 vehicles stopped all vehicles stopped had a relevant driving licence and vehicle insurance.

We all know how important it is to not drive whilst over the prescribed limit and these figures are really positive.  It must also be said the drivers who were stopped engaged really positively with officers and for that we are grateful.

Lets make Lancashire's roads a safe place and never drink and drive.
