We have listened and we are taking action.

Joint meetings have taken place involving the Neighbourhood Police Team, Rural Police Task Force, United Utilities and Rural Rangers.  I'm pleased to announce that funding is being secured for removable bollards to be installed at Anglezarke View Point, Rivington.  There are planned Ops going to be conducted in this area and surrounding areas, involving the Neighbourhood Police Team, Rural Police Task Force, Spec Ops, Councillors and Rural Rangers.  We are going to be vigorously targeting Motorists causing ASB, drink/drug driving, speeding and dangerous driving. 

Once the removable bollards have been installed the layby will be closed during the evening and removed in the morning daily.
