Good Afternoon Resident , 

We understand that when a burglary occurs in your area it can leave you and your community in a state of unease and keep you on edge. In the early hours of the morning on the 9th a motorbike was stolen from a shed which was located in someones back garden.

In order to keep you, your family and your home safe, we recommend you follow these tips:

    - Keep all windows and doors locked at night. We appreciate that in this hot weather is becomes increasingly hard to keep your              home cool at night however, leaving an opportunity for a burglar to enter your home is never a good idea! 

    - Lock your vehicle when it's parked. Criminals may not only look to target your home but your vehicle. NEVER leave valuables in            sight and ALWAYS keep your car doors locked and car windows closed when not in use. 

    - Encourage your neighbours to look out for your home and you look out for theirs. REPORT suspicious behaviour to us on 101 ,            999 or online at https://doitonline.lancashire.police.uk/
