News to everyone! Operation Sceptre is taking place this week. We're asking individuals to give up these weapons during a week-long knife crime initiative!

If you are unaware, it is now unlawful to possess specific things in both public and private settings under the 2019 Offensive Weapons Act. Items include Knives, flick knives and knuckle dusters

Any weapon maybe placed in the local weapon surrender bin (attached photo) if you would like to relinquish any of your weapons!

The local one is on Lancastergate, in front of Leyland Police Station. Any issues front desk is open between the hours of 10am-2pm (Monday - Friday)

You can be sure that giving up such products voluntarily won't result in any legal action against you. It simply means that we are capable of clearing the community of harmful weapons
