Good afternoon,

Today there was a collision where someone on an electric scooter has been hit by a double decker bus. Luckily the rider of the scooter has not received any serious injuries.

I would just like to remind people to be careful around roads and to always make sure it is safe when you are crossing.

It is also illegal to ride an electric scooter on the public highways because it is not possible to get a license or insured. If you are riding your electric scooter on the public highway it can be seized under S165 Road Traffic Act.
