Good Afternoon,

We were called to youths setting small fires in the woods at the rear of the bungalows on the Roods.  Fire were also in attendance but fortunately the fires were put out by the informant before they called 101.

We have had a longer than normal period of dry weather recently which obviously  makes the ground brittle and more susceptible to fires taking hold quickly.
