Day of Action - Dawson Walk and Aughton Walk #Yousaidwedid

Hello Residents of Plungington,

 

Yesterday, following concerns raised by residents, we conducted a Day of Action in the Dawson Walk and Aughton Walk area of Plungington. We attended with Community Gateway and Preston City Council. Here's a summary of what we did:

 

  • Cleared the area of fly-tipping and litter.
  • Conducted door knocks to speak to residents regarding issues.
  • Gained intelligence regarding three addresses contributing to drug use and supply in the area.
  • Identified areas susceptible to ASB and drug abuse.
  • Signed residents up to In the Know to keep them informed with our daily activity. 

    • Stay alert for updates in the area and what changes we are implementing to make your area a safer and more enjoyable place to live!
