Op Centurion ASB Burnley Town Centre

Good Evening

Myself and PC 2505 Roscoe are currently on Op Centurion covering Burnley Town Centre. This involves high visibility foot patrol, and is aimed at providing a presence and reassurance to the local businesses and retail premises, with regards to anti-social behaviour, nuisance behaviour and street drinking.

Earlier on, we witnessed a young male smoking a joint of cannabis outside of Burnley Bus Station. The cannabis was seized and the young male was issued with a Community Resolution.

We have also reported a male to the council for repeated breach of the PSPO (Public Space Protection Order)
