What have we been up to...

Here is what we have been up in Daneshouse and Stoneyholme, Bank Hall and Queensgate after what YOU told us…

Drug Dealing - over 15 people have been arrested for drug related offences, some of which have been charged and remanded and others are still under investigation until a charging decision is made. 

ASB - several properties have been issued Community Protection Warning Notice's which is a Civil Order obtained by the police via Burnley Council. These have been issued for various problems such as loud music, neighbour disputes and cuckooing. Some of which have already been escalated to Community Protection Notice's. 

A meeting is being held in the next coming weeks, with partner agencies, at Daneshouse Community Centre to discuss ongoing issues. 

Bikes - we have another operation planned to help tackle this issue.

Parking - we have been out with the traffic enforcement officers dealing with vehicles parked on restricted markings and causing an obstruction.

Prostitution - 2 properties were visited, and dealt with accordingly. They were also signposted to the relevant agencies. 

We also met with Councillor Maheen Kamran to discuss other on going issues within the community.
