Gardening Scammers

Good evening, 

I hope you are enjoying the sunny weather :) responsibly of course. 

Blackburn Neighbourhood policing team have been made aware of two males in the area targeting older people in the area and trying to charge a lot of money for doing some gardening work. This is a scam and once money has been given they have not been completing any work. 

This has been reported to Action Fraud and Trading Standards. 

Just a heads up to be extra careful when hiring gardeners in your area. Make sure you do your research and get recommendations before hiring anyone. Stay safe.
