Recent Vehicle Theft

Good Afternoon Resident,

We have received a report of the theft of a vehicle overnight in the Pole Lane area of Darwen ,the vehicle has been removed without having access to keys and possibly stolen by means of gaining key codes to open doors etc .

Please ensure that you check the locking mechanism has engaged and please physically check the doors to ensure they are locked before leaving your car.

When leaving keys within your property ,please don't leave them near to  the front door as this is a known method of gaining keys easily, also if you have the keyless entry please consider purchasing a ‘Faraday’ bag - these block the scanner from getting your code for opening your vehicle, these can be purchased from well known selling internet sites for around £5
