Hello all in the THORNTON-CLEVELEYS area,

A Fleetwood response officer has made me aware of an incident in the early hours of the morning (09.08.2025) on Warwick Ave, Thornton-Cleveleys, whereby unknown individuals have been trying vehicle door handles.

Top tips to prevent vehicle crime:

Please remember to lock your vehicle when you leave it unattended.

Do not leave any valuables in your vehicle, however, if you do, do not leave them on view.

Secure number plates with anti-theft screws.

Close all windows and do not forget the sunroof.

Be aware of where you leave your keys- don't leave them lying around or visible on a windowsill or nearby to the front door.

Please be vigilant and report any suspicious activities in the area.
