Alley gates

Good afternoon,

In recent weeks, we have had a couple of burglaries in the area.

For a few of these burglaries, the offender has gained access from the back street. They have managed to access the back street, due to the alley gates being left unlocked/open.

Alley gates are essential for limiting access for non-residents, and has been proven to effectively reduce crime and ASB. 

However, alley gates are only effective if they are used correctly. It is everyone's responsibility to ensure this is the case.

Please can the alley gates be locked at all times, and opened only for immediate access.
