Attempted Pedal Cycle Thefts!

Good afternoon, All,

The Fleetwood Neighbourhood Policing Team want to make residents aware that there has been an attempt theft of a pedal cycle at St Wulstans Primary School, Fleetwood. This incident involved a small group of teenage boys, unfortunately there is no CCTV that we are aware of as of now to try and identify those involved.

We are reminding all residents, especially parents and young cyclists, to take extra precautions when securing their bikes. Simple crime prevention measures can make a big difference!

Always use a high-quality lock D-Lock, if possible, try and combine it with a secondary cable lock.

Lock your bike to a secure, immovable object, in a well-lit, public area.

Store bikes indoors where possible.

In relation to taking extra precautions, we will be hosting a Bike Coding event at St Wulstans Primary School in due course. This is a great opportunity to have your Bike security marked and registered for FREE! Further details including dates and times will be shared soon.
