I wanted to provide you with an update regarding ASB - General (Undefined), which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Electric bike seized NELSON - On Saturday morning your local neighbourhood team whilst out on duty witnessed a young male riding one of these bikes. The rider in question went through red lights, up onto the pavement and turned the town centre into his personal race track. Fortunately the rider rode head on into reality at another set of traffic lights, whilst also riding head on into plain clothed police officers. Officers quickly detained the rider and seized the said vehicle. The driver, as well as donating his vehicle for recycling and helping the heath authorities pledge to get more people walking, he will also be reported for no licence or motor vehicle insurance. We will continue to target these vehicles and prosecute dangerous illegal riders. #yousaidwedid Op.
