Nuisance E-Scooters & E-Bikes

Good Afternoon,

On Saturday the 18th October 2025 The Road Policing Unit and Blackpool NHP have engaged in our latest vehicle Op in tackling Illegal bikes in the Blackpool area.

In total 23 vehicles have been seized under S.165a of the road traffic act. Some of the vehicles seized were found to be able to reach speeds of up to 58 Mph which is extremely dangerous as these modified push bikes are not rated to handle such speeds.

Please continue to report these nuisance riders as we tackle down on these Illegal vehicles.
