Community Road Watch Whittle le woods

Dear Resident

Through Lancashire talking the residents of Whittle Le Woods have told us that speeding motorists are an issue where they live.  As such today we spent an hour in a pre approved area in W-L-W checking the speed of motorists.  Out of 88 vehicles checked 22 were going over the 20mph speed limit with the highest speed being 29mph.  That's a total of 25% going above the speed limit.  

So thank you to the 75% of motorists who were adhering to the speed limit.  To the rest you may be receiving correspondence in the post.

We can confirm that going forward we will be carrying out enforcement in problem areas identified by the public.
