Vehicle Crime in St Annes |
||
|
We have received several reports of males trying car door handles and stealing from insecure vehicles in the St Annes area, in particular on Anchor Way and Buckley Grove.
The offences that have been reported occurred in the early hours of the morning between 03:45 hours - 04:45 hours. CCTV shows three males wearing dark clothing/tracksuits.
Fylde Rural Task Force will be out conducting further CCTV and house to house enquiries to try and identify those involved.
We would like to provide you with the following advice to ensure your vehicles and belongings are kept as safe as possible.
We would like to appeal to those who may be victims of vehicle crime to please report this via 101 or our online reporting portal.
We are seeing an increase in victims not reporting these offences due to the thefts being low value or items not actually being stolen.
No matter the value, we still want to know about these offences so we can build a bigger picture. Your report or CCTV may help us identify these offenders.
If you have any CCTV footage or information which you believe could assist us, you can contact us at FyldeRTF@lancashire.police.uk
Fylde Rural Task Force are committed to disrupting, targeting and investigating those involved in vehicle crime in our communities as part of Operation Lockdown. | ||
