Local drugs warrant:

On the evening of Monday 10th November 2025, your local neighbourhood police team and urban task force executed a drugs warrant at an address on Alexandra Road in Morecambe. At the address, police found an established drugs den with several known users within and paraphernalia indicating drug use. All were subject to relevant search before being told to be on their way, and a quick phone call to the landlord allowed him to get an out of hours locksmith to change the lock and regain control of the property. Whilst searching the address, officers were able to seize a knuckle duster which is illegal to possess and own, along with mobile phones and drugs which will assist a broader investigation.

This drugs warrant was part of a broader community concern of drug dealing from this address, attracting drug users but also public disturbance and violence on the street outside, creating a hostile environment for the local community surrounding. This warrant has allowed the landlord control of his property once again, and we will be working closely with this landlord to ensure he has no further issues here. However, this warrant also sends a reminder to anyone in our local communities that we will not accept crime within the community and will take pro active steps to disrupt and prevent.
