Good morning, If you were on Columbia Way (near to the bottom blind bend) yesterday afternoon you may have noticed some activity happening. I had identified a car parked on the bend that, according to our records was unregistered and with no insurance. One of the conditions under section 99 states “It appears to have been abandoned without lawful authority”. As it was unregistered it meets this condition. Then the car should also not be parked on a public road without insurance, even if it has an valid MOT. These are taken to a holding place and if the owner wants to reclaim the vehicle they have to prove that the vehicle is legally theirs and pay the cost of removal & storage.
