Arrest for vehicle Crime

Dear Resident

In the early hours of Sunday 9th Nov we had several reports of males trying car and garage doors in the vicinity of Hale Grove, Rufford Ave and Capesthorne Drive.   With the assistance of a member of the public who managed to detain a male until Police arrived, we have arrested a offender for theft from a vehicle.

Please can we remind you to ensure doors and windows to your property and vehicles are locked and remove any property from view.  If you have any CCTV and ring doorbell footage from the late evening on the 8th or early hours of the 9th Nov that may have captured any suspicious behaviour please reply confidentially on here quoting log 1031.
