Trading Standards Operation

                        Good Afternoon

                            On Wednesday 12th November 2025, Officers from Rossendale Neighbourhood Policing Team and Tradings Standards carried out an operation inspecting Shops in the Haslingden area. This was in relation to the sales of illegal and illicit Tobacco, Cigarettes and vapes/E-cigarettes.

                            During the operation a large quantity of illegal and illicit Tobacco and Cigarettes where seized by Trading standards. Trading Standards will look to prosecute those responsible and the Police will look to use Civil Orders against the respective shops involved.
