Op Sceptre starts on Monday!

🚨 🚨 Op Sceptre 🚨 🚨

Today is the start of Operation Sceptre a National week long operation dedicated to tackling and reducing Knife Crime.  

During this week we will be taking part in a number of activities from weapons sweeps, educational inputs to proactive targeting of problem areas.  

The week long initiative also encourages people to surrender any weapons that they may have.  There are knife bins at Kingsfold Community Centre, Moss Side shops and Chorley and Leyland Police Station.  

Alternative if you wish to contact us we may be able to facilitate collecting any weapons.  

Also if you know of any knife crime offenders or you are worried about someone you know who may carry a knife we can potentially organise a visit to that person to dissuade them from doing so.  This may allow us to submit referrals to help prevent crime in the future.
