Operation Sceptre

Operation Sceptre is a national police initiative to tackle knife crime throughout England, and Wales.

It involves police forces working to remove knives from the streets, deter people from carrying them, and educating the public. Today we are encouraging people to use knife bins.

If you have any unwanted knives, you can safety dispose of them in Accrington's knife bin. This is situated on the junction of Union Street, King Street, close to Accrington Bus Station.
