Fake Money

The team just wanted to pass on some crime prevention advice. We have been contacted by a local business at Longridge to let us know they have discovered a counterfeit £20 note in circulation. This is just a reminder for all people, especially businesses, to be extra vigilant in the run up to the busy retail Christmas period. There is a poster attached which shows some of the common flaws to look out for. As we are now seeing a mix of currency in circulation, featuring the late Queen and the King.
