Urgent Reminder – Parking Causing Obstruction

Dear All,

We have received reports of vehicles parking on single yellow lines and double parking in the local area. This is creating serious access issues and safety concerns.

Yesterday, a police vehicle was unable to get down the road due to vehicles blocking access. In addition, many of these vehicles are causing obstructions to pavements, making it difficult for pedestrians, wheelchair users, and parents with prams to pass safely.

Please note:

Parking on single yellow lines during restricted times is not permitted.

Double parking can result in enforcement action.

If your vehicle is causing an obstruction to a highway (this includes the pavement) tickets may be issues and vehicles may be seized.

Your cooperation is essential to keep our roads clear and accessible for emergency services and the public.
