Vehicle theft from Buttercross Close |
Dear Residents, We are writing to make you aware of a burglary that occurred on Buttercross Close during the early hours of Saturday 20th December.
At approximately 02:12am, a group of three offenders (possibly) entered the cul‑de‑sac. They gained access to a property by snapping the lock on the patio doors. Once inside, they took the car keys from the kitchen and subsequently stole a Mercedes from the driveway. The offenders left the area at around 03:00am.
We are asking residents to please check any CCTV, doorbell cameras, or dash‑cam footage between 02:00am and 03:00am on the above date. We are also keen to hear from anyone who noticed anything suspicious, including any unfamiliar vehicles or persons. At this stage, we do not know the direction the offenders entered the cul‑de‑sac. Even small pieces of information can be valuable to the investigation.
