🚨Burglaries alert - Rossall Ward🚨

You may be aware of, and concerned about reports of burglaries in Fleetwood, specifically in and around the Rossall Ward area. 

I want to take this opportunity to provide an update and some reassurances. Lancashire Police take all reports of burglaries very seriously, and these recent events are no exception. We have a team of specialist officers from our divisional burglary team investigating the reports and conducting extensive enquiries in the area - these officers are not conducting general patrols and work in plain clothes so may not be obvious to you. 

Officers from the Wyre Neighbourhood Policing Team have been, and will continue to conduct high visibility patrols to give some reassurance and visibility. Please feel free to stop one of the team if you wish to discuss any concerns or believe you may have some information that could assist the investigation. 

We are also conducting other enquiries in and around the vicinity which may not be obvious to the public - for operational reasons I am unable to give any further details around this.

On Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st December the team will be out and about in the Larkholme area with our mobile police station. We will be visiting various streets and conducting house to house reassurance. Please feel free to come and talk to us.
