Burglary alert - Brownside Road

Good evening,

We have received 2 reports of attempt burglaries on Brownside Road.

Both attempts were on the same property.

The first attempt was between 31st Dec 22:30 and 1st Jan 03:30.

The second attempt was overnight between 1st and 2nd Jan.

On the first occasion, the lock on the front door was snapped. The suspects managed to gain access to the porch, but fortunately has not managed to access the rest of the property.

On the second occasion, they have tried to snap the repaired lock, but were not successful.

If you have cameras that cover Brownside Road, close to the junction of Crookhalgh Ave, please check you cameras between the above times.

We currently have no description of the suspects.
