PLEASE CLEAR SNOW AND ICE FROM YOUR CAR

With snowy and ice conditions around Great Harwood,

please take a few minutes to fully clear all the snow and ice from your car before driving-including the roof, windows, lights,mirrors,and number plates.

Driving with snow on your vehicle is dangerous.

Snow can slide onto your windscreen while braking or blow off and hit other road users, putting everyone at risk.

Its's also a legal requirement under the Highway Code and properly functioning lights-failure to do so could result in a fine or penalty points.

Lets all do our part to keep our roads safe for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists.
