Residential burglaries |

Good afternoon,
I am the local officer for Colne, Trawden and Laneshawbridge, i am sending this message as part of the neighbourhood policing team on behalf of my colleagues. I would like to message you all in response to a series of residential burglaries in the Pendle area, including those of which vehicle's have been stolen from. These have been occuring between 10pm and 4am in the morning, the suspects have been snapping locks mainly at the rear of properties, searching for vehicles keys before stealing the cars.
This last week, we have located and recovered 3 of the recent stolen vehicles. Which had been parked on a residential street near to Alkincoats park in Colne for over 24 hours. If you see any suspicious behaviour or vehicles appearing on your street or area, please make us aware via either 101 or online reporting (link below).
Your local neighbourhood officers and PCSO's are revisiting all of the victims of the offences and are offering crime prevention advice, reassurance and exchanging details of the local officers.
In addition to this, ourselves, the burglary team are working tirelessly in the background to identify the person responsible and our 24/7 response policing colleagues and Road crime team are spending as much time in the area overnight to find the offenders.
