Good News

Today the Lancaster City Centre neighbourhood policing team received reports of two males riding at speed on an electric bike around the city visiting multiple stores. Including, many charity shops! Trying to use counterfeit £20 notes.

Two youths were swiflty located, searched and an amount of ‘fake’ notes were seized and will be destroyed. The bike in question was also found to be illigal and was also seized! 

The males and the offences will be dealt with in due course. 

WARNING!! Counterfeit notes have become increasingly popular and are becoming harder to spot. Please be vigilant and spread the word to prevent further people/buisnesses being victim to this.
