Your response to our Anti-Social Behaviour survey

Dear Resident

In November 2025, Lancashire Constabulary invited members of our Neighbourhood Alert system (In The Know) to share their thoughts on anti-social behaviour and help shape our current and future plans.

We’re grateful to the more than 3,000 people who took the time to respond. Your feedback is invaluable, and we want you to know we’re listening. Here are some early insights from the survey:

Top concerns: Nuisance vehicles, vandalism, fly-tipping, and dog fouling were among the most frequently mentioned issues in local communities.

Preferred approaches: Targeted foot patrols, youth engagement (school visits, youth clubs, diversionary programmes), and tackling repeat incidents were highlighted as effective ways to address anti-social behaviour.

We’re now reviewing all responses in detail. Your input will directly influence how we tackle anti-social behaviour across Lancashire. We’ll share a full report soon, outlining the actions we plan to take based on your suggestions.
