Burglary - Town Hill Bank

Good evening,

At 01:24 this morning (17/01), we received a report from a resident on Town Hill Bank, who had been awoken to the sound of smashing glass. 

It was found that a window in the conservatory has been smashed. 

On closer inspection, the beading from around the window had been removed.

It is likely that the suspects were trying to remove the whole window, and unintentionally smashed the glass.

The suspects accessed the conservatory from an unlocked side gate leading to the rear of the property. 

It is believed that the suspects were likely trying to locate the keys to an Audi parked on the drive. 

Thankfully, they left the area, having been unsuccessful.

If you have cameras in the area, please kindly review your footage just prior to the above time, for any suspicious activity. 

We are also interested in footage from around 00:17, where a white vehicle (no further details) drove along Town Hill Bank, and then on to Tinedale View, before leaving the area. It is not confirmed this vehicle was involved in the offence, however a similar looking vehicle has been present at other incidents, so we are keen to investigate this vehicle further.
