Dear Resident 

A number of residents have contacted Police to report that their vehicles have been broken into and property taken. It is believed that this has happened in the early hours of 26/01/26 and that the suspect is a lone male. 

The incidents have happened in the areas of Sandy forth Avenue and West Drive in Thornton. 

We just wanted to remind residents not to leave valuables in cars and to remember to lock and secure vehicles when they are unattended.
