Burglary in Garstang.

Good evening residents of Garstang,

We have today received a report of a residential burglary in the area. 

At this stage it appears as though that this has been an opportunist who has entered a property via an open window and stolen a handbag from within before making good their escape.

It is thought that this has taken place during last night between 2000 and 0400. 

This is a timely reminder to make sure your property is locked and secured accordingly and to invest in anti-burglary equipment such as a video doorbell, motion censored lights, decent locks etc.
