ASB in Worsthorne Village

Good afternoon!

There has been a report made to police regarding youths in the evenings on the square. It has been reported that these youths have been throwing things at cars, kicking doors and being subjected to verbal abuse.

In the past two weeks, I have only been made aware of one instance of this behaviour, which was not reported through our control room. If this kind of behaviour in the village is ongoing please report this straight away via 999 if someone is in fear for their safety or their property. These kinds of incidents are deployed to by a patrol, and usually as a priority.

I take the reports of ASB in the village seriously, and want to make sure adequate resources are in place, however, without the reports, we remain unaware if the true scale of an issue. Nobody should feel unsafe in their homes or out in their communities. Please help us put the right support in place and inform us through the official channels when these incidents are taking place.
