Bold Venture Park

Good Afternoon Resident,

If you have been out and about in the park today you may have seen officers along with our partners from the Open spaces and Community Safety teams at BwDBC and the problem solving team at police headquarters  . There has been a CCTV system installed that you may hear being called  ‘Safer Pods’ these are designed to reduce the incidents of anti social behaviour in specific areas. These systems have been funded by the Police and Crime commissioner ,who has used funds from the proceed of crimes act  

You will be aware that there have been several reports of damage in the park in the past ,these reports tended to be around arson on the children's play area and this is having an effect on those that use the park and may influence parents to stay away from the area as opposed to using the facility.

We want to reduce the risk of any issues rising in the coming months as the nights will start to  get lighter and want residents in the area to enjoy what the park has to offer.
