On the 18th of February officers from the local Neighbourhood team carried out a speeding operation on Towneley Holmes road near to the school,
Over a Fifty minute period we observed 90 vehicles and found 42 driving above the speed limit with the fastest being 36MPH in a 20MPH zone. This is an increase in last month.
Details were taken and owners of those vehicles will be contacted in due course.
This will operation will be continued to be performed over the oncoming year.
