Yesterday evening we received a report of a burglary at a property on Longacre, Lytham St Annes.
This offence happened on the 5th March 2026 between 18:15hrs and 18:30hrs.
Fylde Rural Task Force have been showing a high visibility presence, conducting CCTV and house to house enquiries.
Whilst carrying out our enquiries, we identified a further property on Longacre had also been burgled.
CCTV footage has identified the offender to be a lone male dressed in black clothing, gloves, a beanie style hat and a face covering.
We don't want to worry our residents, however we want to keep you informed so that you can remain vigilant.
We will be increasing our patrol in the area both day and night and using our stop search powers where necessary.
If you live in the area and have CCTV, we encourage you to check your cameras around the time of the offence for a male matching the above description.
