Parking Offences - Sawley Road Grindleton

Good afternoon, 

We have had reports of vehicles parking in an unacceptable manner, causing unnecessary obstructions to the highway. 

Vehicles are repeatedly parking fully on the pavements on SAWLEY ROAD, GRINDLETON. Please be advised that we will be monitoring this and speaking with those committing the offence. Unfortunately, if consideration is not taken when parking then this may result in officers issuing tickets for causing an unnecessary obstruction to the highway. 

We fully appreciate parking is difficult within the villages, however parking in a manner which is making pedestrians including children to walk into the road is not acceptable. 

If you do find yourself being obstructed by a vehicle parking fully on a pavement, then please call 101 and report it. We can only issue the relevant tickets, if the incident is happening there and then.
