Setting Fires in Crawford Village

Good Afternoon All, 

I have been made aware that over the last few nights several fires have been started on the field and within the wooded areas next to the Hut in Crawford Village.

My understanding is that a number of young people on pedal cycles / E-bikes have come onto the field and have been starting small fires, thankfully the Fire Service have attended and put out these fires quickly however this is clearly a concerning trend that must stop.

Please can i ask all parents/guardians of children who visit this location to remind them the dangers of starting fires and the consequences that come with it. We do not want to stop young people from having fun but this is completely unacceptable and very dangerous. 

Anyone involved in this type of incident will be dealt with robustly.
