March Update |
Dear Resident
I trust that you’ve had a pleasant Easter break and for anyone still off work this week, that you’re making the most of the lovely weather! I’ve been through the crime figures for March and they are as follows:- Wiswell – one report of criminal damage, which is related to a neighbour dispute. Pendleton – one reported theft of numerous sheep and one report of a suspicious vehicle, male parks up on a regular basis, but doesn’t appear to be doing anything. Barrow – two reports of suspicious circumstances. One turned out to be a call of good intent and the other a small amount of drug paraphernalia found in the woods. Also, three reports of anti-social behaviour which were all related to vehicles on the retail park. Most of these incidents happen after the Neighbourhood team have finished for the night, so we have asked our colleagues from Tac Ops (what used to be Traffic) and the Specials, who love traffic related jobs, to pay some attention to the area in the late evenings. As a result of enquiries, four warning letters were hand delivered to the owners of some of the vehicles that we could trace. We shall continue to patrol the area. Unfortunately, I’m unable to attend the next two Parish Council meetings but I will be holding a drop-in surgery between 6.30pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday 6 May. This will be at Barrow Village Hall, Old Row, Whalley Rd. Everyone is welcome so please share with your friends and neighbours. If you can’t wait till then, the next drop-in at Clitheroe Library is 14 April, 1pm to 2pm and the Booths drop-in will be 23 April between 5 and 6pm. As ever, if you have any concerns, you can contact me confidentially via reply to this message, but please do not use it to report crime.
Best regards PCSO 7530 Ailsa Gill. | ||
