Good news, our advert for applications to be a Volunteer Police Cadet is now open !!!!!!!

This Police Cadet opportunity allows you to develop your skill set and strengths through a structured programme to enhance relationships between local communities and the police.

As a Police Cadet, you will be able to take part in community events for a minimum of 3 hours per week, visit different police departments such as the Dog Section, Firearms Unit, Mounted Branch, Roads Policing Unit and Scenes of Crime Unit and gain an insight into the basic rules and laws of policing!

There are no entry requirements, we just ask that you have a positive attitude with the desire to help other people. If you’ve previously been in trouble with the police don’t worry, you’re still welcome to join.

You can apply directly to the Pendle cadet unit which is based at Nelson and Colne college on either Tuesday or Wednesday evenings 6 to 8pm by following the link below:
