On Monday 13th APRIL Compliance Enforcement Officers from DVLA, along with colleagues from Wyre Council and Officers from Wyre Neighbourhood Policing Team were part of an operation to target vehicles without tax and valid MOT certificates.
Officers attended locations in Cleveleys, Thornton and Poulton-le-Fylde acting upon information received from our local communities around the concerns about the amount of vehicles without tax and valid MOT.
A total of 21 vehicles were reported for no Tax and MOT in Poulton-Le-Fylde and 15 in Thornton-Cleveleys.
Members of the public and local businesses that we spoke to yesterday were really positive about the operation and joint working with our colleagues from DVLA and Wyre Council which we do appreciate, and will be looking to plan the next one
