Anti-social behaviour in your area |
||
|
Good Morning,
Over the last few weeks, we have received a number of complaints regarding nuisance caused by children in the Dallas Road/Blades Street area. No one is complaining that children should not be playing out as long as the children are not impacting other residents.
Most of the Children come from Wheatfield Mews and access the waste land behind the houses on Wheatfield Mews and the alley way that Blades Street properties back on to. This is the main area in which children are causing nuisance, throwing things into the back gardens, bringing and spreading rubbish in the alley, and being cheeky to residents when spoken to.
If you are a parent and have children in this area, please make sure your child understands that this is anti-social behaviour and makes other residents miserable. The waste land area is quite a dangerous area for young children to play as there is a fairly high drop down to the alley. So, please be mindful of where your child is and what they are doing etc.
If you experience any anti-social behaviour from children, especially during school holidays please contact us on 101. The sooner we know about this, the earlier we can engage with the children and their parents, preventing it from continuing on throughout the summer.
